Everyday we went swimming in the Uraria River. We jumped in to removed sawdust, dirt and sweat. We worked in 90 degree plus weather everyday. After our first day of construction, some of the team played volleyball with the villagers. Some of the Brazilian team played soccer.
Monday night after supper, the team went gator hunting. It gets dark fast. We hunted from 7pm to 930pm. Dave and Dixie got their gators. Along the Amazon River, villagers are allowed to hunt gators for food. Gator meat taste like chicken.
